Ever since I was a teen, one of my favorite games was Animal Crossing (dating back to the GameCube one), and even to this day I love the game (currently playing New Leaf a lot). Good friend and fellow musician Blake Cecil also shares a love for the series, so we thought to ourselves "why not make a split about it?" And so we did, and we're both pretty proud of the result. Dubious Disc supplies super calming 8-bit sounds as I supply drag created with AC music, some of it noticeable (GCN theme, a harsh remix of Totaka's Song but shhh that's a secret). Enjoy!

Special thanks to Kazumi Totaka for creating a great soundtrack for a great game that I had lots of fun revamping into noise tracks!
Fucking amazing, download all of Broken Key's releases, you won't be disappointed. We share a space to rehearse / record / etc and he's one of my best friends. Split coming soon! Tape Monster
Noisy dark ambient, this project is highly recommended. Commanded by close personal friend Daniel Wasko, he turns funky bass riffs into spine-tingling dark ambient. Tape Monster
Matt makes music under Corvid Canine and The Sepia Raven. Both projects are awesome and I advise you to check them all out. He's a great guy and he's one of the most supportive heads in the scene! Tape Monster

Written in response to the climate crisis, “Leviathan” is a brooding and beautifully unsettling batch of dark ambient songs. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 16, 2023
